  • Evacuation and Protection
  • Search rescue and relief
  • Medical (First Aid)

Roles and responsibilities of A.P.F. when disaster occurs

Roles and responsibilities will be different according to the effect of disaster:

KA type Disaster One or more region
KHA type Disaster One or more districts
GA type Disaster District HQs or prominent place
GHA type Disaster Minor disaster


Roles and responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the activities of all those responding the incident
  • Save life
  • Protect property
  • Prevent escalation of emergency
  • Relieve suffering
  • Promote self help and recovery
  • Inform the public
  • Restore normally as soon as possible
