Rescue and Relief Activities

In the pervious year of 2006 APF have been mobilized for rescue and relief activities in different incident such as Road side accident, Flood, Plane crash in different places of Nepal.

1 2006July,23 APF Revenue Custom Unit Of Tatopani rescued the injured people of bus mishap and send them to hospital by ambulance and collected all the dead bodies at one place and handed over to their relatives at Jalbiray of Sindhupalchowk District. Road Accident
2 2006Sep,8 As per the information regarding destruction at Kabilash-9 Kholdhari of Chitwan District, at 13:15,the unified force from zugaydi reached and rescued local people from destruction of life and property. Landslide and Flood
3 2006Sep,9 As soon as the news reached that the Barbang river was flooded due to the heavy rain and was going to drown the houses nearby,the rescue team from APF Basr Camp Kurintar reached the spot and avoided the trouble with the help of local resources at Kurintar of Chitwan District Flood
4 2006Sep,10 When the news was heard that Bimali Rai,around 85 years old of Chitwan District Bhandra-1 was drowned and reached to Sisney Ghari VDC,the APF team from Gadimahi Battalion reached and resued her but she was already dead than.. Flood
5 2006Sep,3 When house of Tapendra B.K the resident of Uttarganga VDC-1 Bangesimal of Surkhet District,was caught by fire,the mobilized rescue team from APF Raktakali Battalion reached the spot and got control over the caught fire. Fire
6 2006June,21 The 9N-AE, No. of Yeti Airlines which took-off from surkhet to Jumla airport met an accident 600 meter away from jumla airport runway while landing,at Chandranath VDC the APF team from Tripura Battalion reached the spot to rescue and all the 9 people including pilots, crew member and the passenger were found dead. 7 2006Aug,26 Due to heavy rainfall the Dam of Budikulo was damaged at Daulapur VDC ward no.4 of Bardiya District, the team of APF reached the spot and renovated the Dam with sand bag, stones and wooden log. Flood
8 2006Aug,28 Flesh flood that occurred in various places of Holiya,Piparahawa,Chitaipurow,Chaukhari,Betahani VDCs of Banke District caused a heavy loss of lives and property. Altogether 350 people including man, woman and children were rescued to edge of jungle place named Uchuwa of Holiya via Shree Air Helicopter by the APF rescue team. Flood
9 2006Aug,28 Rescue team from APF Bagaysowri Battalion resuced the victims of heavy rainfall and flood in the premises of Electricity authority at Nepaljung,Banke District and also Raja and Dakeri region of Nepaljung by opening suitable drainage. Flood
10 2006Aug,28 Rescue team from Base camp Raja Banke was deployed at refugee housing area where water piled up to 5 feet and Manikapur VDC ward no.7 of Banke District where water piled up to 4 feet were transferred all the objectives to safe place from submerged houses. Flood
11 2006Aug,27 APF team from Base Camp Raja Banke Distributed 350 Packs of food items to flood victims of Upuwa Village in Holiya VDC, received from District Administration Banke. Flood
12 2006Sep,2 APF Bageshwori Battalion gave away 60 piece of bamboo to flood victims of Gangapur,Fatehpur VDC in Fultekra Command Post and the combined team of Nepal Army,Armed Police Force and Nepal Police raised 82 tensts in Betahani,Buchuwa. Flood
13 2006Sep,6 APF Bageshwori Battalion handed over clothes to Red-Cross society of Nepaljung. Flood
14 2006Sep,8 The part of road blocked due to the digging of road to pass water caused by flood from chure hills in Bankatuwa of Mahendra Highway was re-opened by  APF Tripura Battalion Kohalpur ,fitting 3 hem pipes. Flood
15 2006May,17 Rescue Team from APF Tactical Training College Bardaghat rescued the distructed truck numbered Na.2.Kha 9930 headed to Dhangadi from Kathmandu. Road Accident
16 2006July,13 Combined team of 29 personnel from unified base-camp chamay reached the site where the flooded Dudh khola carried away the extension Bridge in Dharepani VDC of Manang District and Built Wooden bridge. Flood
17 2006July,14 Rescue Team from APF Kalika Battalion Pokhara reached the landslide area of Dansingh VDC 9 of Kaski District where 13 houses were destroyed by landslide among which 6 houses were uninhabited and rest7 houses were inhabited by 30 people were buried by landslide.The rescue team found 23 dead bodies during rescue operation. 18 2006Sep,9 14 Years old Prakash Rimal of Gaidakot-4,Dhapardi,Nawaparasi District was rescued while he was being swept away by flooded Jayashree river and got stuck on tree at 14:30 by unified security force of Gaidakot . The flooded river submerged ground floor of around 20/25 houses. Flood
19 2006Sep, Rescue team from APF Manakamana Battalion  rescued the landslide area of  Rishi Pani Pokhari VDC of Tanahu District. Flood and Landslide
20 2006 The rescue team from unified security force from Koshi Baradge controlled the fire which was caught at home of Narayan Yadav ,Bhantabari chowk of Haripur,Sunsari District  
21 2006 Sep19 The rescue team from A.P.F. Detention Center Base Camp Biratnagar rescued the house of Laxminarayan Bkaid of Sub-metropolitan City 9 which was caught fire by electric-shot. Fire
22 2006 June30 The rescue team from A.P.F Sidhakali Batallion rescued 35 people alive out of 870 people who were crossing the Sapta Koshi River to attend the wedding ceremony through boat which was up-side down. River Accident
23 2006Aug26 Unified Force rescued the 90 grouses of Khaptad VDC 5,6 and Devistan VDC 1,9 which was destroyed by land-slide Landslide
24 2006Aug27 The rescue team from A.P.F Baidaynath Brigade Attariya rescued people,Animal,Fertile  land and other belonging from flood that had occurred due to Budhiganga river of Asam district, Mastamandu,Safaybagar. Flood
25 2006July31 The fire that had been caught to Yond Packaging P.Ltd and Print Cell Imaging P.Ltd including 5 houses that belongs to civil were rescued by the A.P.F Dashinkali Batallion, Balambhu. Fire
