Procedure

Why the APF is reliable for Rescue and Relief Activities?

  1. Structure and Formation of APF.
  2. Can be deployed at any time.
  3. Its unit and sub-units are Located in various region of Nepal.
  4. Trained, Disciplined and Physically fit personnel.
  5. Posses well means of Communication, Transportations and Medical facilities for rescue operation.
  6. Self reliance in Logistics.
Preparedness

APF personnel are always and at any time Stand-by for Rescue and Relief Operation.

  1. Central Level
    i) APF H.Qs,Operational Department 1 pltn
    ii) APF Bangalamukhi STF Btn Plus Coy
    iii) Reserve Force (Stand-by) 1 pltn
    iv) Central APF Band(deployed only after trained) 1 pltn

  2. Valley/Regional Level
    i) Every APF Brigade H.Qs Plus pltn
    ii) Every APF training center "
    iii) Every Regional APF Btn 1 Coy
    iv) Every Company/Base Camp 2 pltn


    Note:
    1 platoon(pltn): 46 Personnel
    1 Company(coy): 130Personnel
    # Till now in APF there are 6 Brigade,23 Battalion, 1 Company , 1 Training College, 2 Tactical College, and 1 Hospital.
